I received an advanced copy through good reads firsts. One kick is a interesting thriller. It follows a young adult named kick who was kidnapped as a child and rescued years later. When two children suddenly go missing she feels they are connected to her abduction ten years earlier.

This book draws you in from the beginning and keeps showing you kicks past as it links to the present and has lots of in expected turns. You meet a lot of different characters that help make this book flow and a little bit of violence.
